Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented Proofreader to ensure accuracy and compliance in documentation for the medical device industry. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong grammar skills, and a thorough understanding of technical and regulatory requirements in medical device documentation.
Key Responsibilities: - Review and proofread technical, regulatory, and marketing documents for accuracy, grammar, spelling, and consistency.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and company guidelines, including FDA, ISO 13485, and other applicable regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Regulatory, Quality, and Marketing, to address corrections or inconsistencies.
- Verify content aligns with approved templates and style guides.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to enhance document quality and readability.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of proofreading experience, preferably in the medical device, healthcare, or regulatory industry.
- Familiarity with technical terminology and regulatory requirements in the medical device field.
- Strong proficiency in grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills: - Experience with document management systems and regulatory submissions.
- Knowledge of FDA and ISO 13485 standards.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
