Project Manager – Risk Infrastructure (Banking)
Location: San Francisco, CA (Hybrid – 2–3 days/week onsite)

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead risk infrastructure and decisioning system initiatives in the banking and digital lending domain . This role is central to the implementation of GDS Link and related decisioning platforms, driving end-to-end project delivery , stakeholder alignment, and team leadership across onshore and offshore teams. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise, domain knowledge in credit/lending, and project leadership to manage high-impact risk initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead risk infrastructure and decisioning platform projects with primary focus on GDS Link ; exposure to FICO Blaze or Experian PowerCurve is highly valued.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions; oversee design, optimization, coding, and testing of decisioning rules .
- Act as the primary onshore contact for client leadership, including C-level stakeholders , to drive alignment and ensure successful project outcomes.
- Manage project planning, timelines, and risk mitigation , ensuring smooth execution across onshore and offshore teams (10+ members) .
- Collaborate with Risk, IT Infrastructure, Product, Analytics, and Finance teams to integrate risk strategies into operational workflows.
- Provide technical guidance and act as SME for BRMS/decisioning systems , including cloud-hosted deployments.
- Oversee offshore analytical support teams , ensuring quality delivery, timely escalations, and seamless coordination.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in BRMS projects , solution design, and decisioning system management.
- Hands-on expertise in GDS Link , with knowledge of FICO Blaze or Experian PowerCurve preferred.
- Strong Java programming and proficiency in SQL and/or Python .
- Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP) .
- Banking/credit card lending expertise with focus on underwriting, acquisitions, or digital lending products .
- Proven team management experience with distributed and offshore teams.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and consulting skills for executive-level interactions.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Operations Research, or related fields .
Preferred Attributes:
- Experience with decisioning platform migrations or end-to-end implementations .
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to drive cross-functional initiatives in a consulting environment.
