Job Description
Must-Haves:
- High school diploma/GED
- 2 years’ experience as a Medical Assistant
- Must be comfortable in a high-volume office setting
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification through American Heart Association
- Must be willing to provide documentation or obtain vaccinations included: Hep B, Covid, TB, Varicella (Chicken Pox), Flu (seasonal), MMR vaccine
- Dependability and punctuality!
Plusses:
- Previous Epic experience is a HUGE plus
- CMA/RMA
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Experience with performing injections, pap smears, EKGs, or any Phlebotomy experience
Day-to-Day:
Insight Global is hiring for a client of ours in the St. Augustine area. Duties are as follows:
- Provide support to assigned provider
- Greet and escort patients during visit
- Maintain medical documentation
- Obtain urine samples, EKGs, covid/flu/strep swabs, etc. when requested
- Process prescription requests
- Discuss lab results with patients
- Schedule care, treatment, and diagnostic tests per physician request
This is a 3-month contract to hire role, and the pay rate ranges from $15-$22/ hour. The healthcare provider location is in North St. Augustine.
