Job Description

Job Title: Human Resources Coordinator II

Location: Moline, IL

Contract Duration: 15 Months

Expected hours: 40 Hours per Week

Schedule: HYBRID – 4 days in office 1 day remote. Day remote is flexible.

Pay Range: 19.75 $ Per hour

Major Purpose

This role primarily supports tactical aspects of HR processes while also contributing to higher-level HR functions. It is a specialized administrative position within Human Resources, involving performance management advising, non-exempt interviewing, payroll/time management, basic training facilitation, and coordination of employee relations events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by resolving HR inquiries professionally and efficiently.
  • Administer HR processes including talent acquisition, internal transfers, organizational management, employee records, and training administration.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Create and manage local document systems and prepare moderately complex documents and reports.
  • Analyze HR data to identify trends and contribute to business performance improvements.
  • Validate and process payroll data, prepare reports, and manage manual payments as needed.
  • Collaborate with HR specialists on process improvements and escalations.
  • Ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met or exceeded.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard office software
  • Experience with SuccessFactors modules (Learning, Recruiting, Onboarding, etc.) is a plus
  • Ability to promote and implement process changes

Education & Experience

  • Education: Post-secondary non-tertiary education; Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred
  • Experience: 4–6 months of office/operational systems experience preferred; 0–3 months acceptable
